Alabama Bass Trail 100 Series Unveils Powerhouse 2026 Angler Lineup

Dec 19, 2025

DECATUR, AL – The Alabama Bass Trail (ABT) 100 Series has revealed its complete competitor lineup for the 2026 season, showcasing a formidable assembly of 200 anglers across 100 two-person teams ready to tackle Alabama’s legendary bass waters.

The announcement comes as the tournament series continues its meteoric rise in competitive bass fishing. With tournament entries once again selling out at a blistering pace, the 2026 roster demonstrates the ABT’s growing prominence as a must-fish destination for serious competitors nationwide.

“When we look at the names on this roster, we’re seeing the future of professional bass fishing alongside seasoned veterans who’ve made their mark on the sport,” said Kay Donaldson, Director of the Alabama Bass Trail 100 Tournament Series. “These anglers aren’t just chasing checks—they’re chasing legacy. They want their names in the ABT record books, and with the fishing conditions we’re seeing across our host lakes, 2026 could be the year we witness some truly historic moments.”

Each competitor on the 2026 roster will vie for significant cash rewards throughout the season, with individual tournament prize pools surpassing $100,000. The series maintains its commitment to rewarding excellence with a locked-in $25,000 first-place prize per event, while ensuring the top 20 finishing teams share in the payout at every stop.

The Alabama Bass Trail has emerged as a powerhouse in competitive fishing, now standing as the second-largest tournament trail in the United States and earning recognition as “Event of the Year” from Decatur Morgan Tourism. The series has become synonymous with fierce competition, exceptional fishing, and the unmatched hospitality of Alabama’s waterfront communities.

As these anglers prepare for battle across Alabama’s most productive fisheries, one number looms large: 32.02 pounds. That magical weight—the heaviest five-bass limit in ABT history, recorded at the series’ very first tournament on Lake Guntersville in 2014—remains unbroken after more than a decade. Will the 2026 roster be the group to finally topple this legendary mark?
