Alabama Bass Trail Finds New Roads With Chevrolet in 2024 and 2025

Nov 30, 2023

Decatur, Ala. – As the Alabama Bass Trail (ABT) embarks on their eleventh season, the state’s premier weekend tournament trail looks to find new roads in 2024 and 2025. The ABT has signed a multi-year sponsorship agreement with Chevrolet as the official truck sponsor of the ABT Tournament Series and the ABT 100 Series in 2024 and 2025.

“We are excited to partner with a brand that embraces outdoor lifestyle, the fishing industry and is equipped to serve our tournament anglers and fans. We look forward to collaborating with the team at Chevrolet and their Alabama dealerships to promote the Chevrolet brand while continuing to expand the sport of bass fishing throughout the state of Alabama and across the country. I appreciate the efforts of Mark Cook and Edgar McGraw to make this deal a reality,” said ABT Program Director Kay Donaldson.

“Landers McLarty Chevrolet is elated to be partnering with the Alabama Bass Trail starting with the 2024 season,” said Landers McLarty Chevrolet GSM/Fixed Operations Director Mark A. Cook. “When it comes to fishing, we have been very active in many of the local tournaments, putting on our own derby and directly sponsoring several local high school teams over the last few years. We felt it was perfect timing for us to now enter a sponsorship of the Alabama Bass Trail, the state’s premier fishing trail.”

Edgar McGraw, owner for McGraw-Webb Chevrolet, said, “The McGraw-Webb Chevrolet family understands the tremendous economic impact fishing brings to rural Alabama. Having seen firsthand the immediate impact and positive effects that the Alabama Bass Trail has had on the city of Camden and the entire Wilcox County area, our group jumped at the chance to be a part of the next chapter in Alabama Bass Trail history. We are proud to partner with the Alabama Bass Trail and look forward to working closely with Kay and her team to provide anglers and their families quality automobiles and great customer service they deserve.”

Under the terms of the agreement, Landers McClarty Chevrolet and McGraw-Webb Chevrolet will provide two Chevrolet Silverado trucks and will have a booth at all ABT and ABT 100 series events in 2024 and 2025. The Alabama Bass Trail will feature the companies on all tournament related advertising, website and collateral materials and the brand will be seen across numerous ABT social media platforms. Chevrolet’s logo will also be prominently displayed on the wrapped trucks driven by and jerseys worn by ABT staff members.

Cook adds, “The Chevrolet brand has always been synonymous with the outdoors and trucks, cars and SUVs that are built ‘Like a Rock’. As the branding changes with Chevrolet from ‘Like a Rock’ to ‘Find New Roads,’ we at Landers McLarty Chevrolet are taking our new roads to assist our new Alabama Bass Trail family. We will be doing this with sponsorship dollars, but also by making incredible discounts available to the Alabama Bass Trail anglers on both sales and service.”
