Pro-Guide Batteries Named a Presenting Sponsor of the 2024 Alabama Bass Trail Tournament Series and 100 Series

Dec 4, 2023

Decatur, Ala. – Headquartered in Golden, Mo., Pro-Guide Batteries, a trusted name among dealers, boat manufacturers, and anglers for the past 40 years, will join the Alabama Bass Trail (ABT) as a presenting sponsor of the ABT Tournament Series and 100 Series in 2024. The brand now becomes the first battery to ever become an official sponsor of the ABT.

“Pro-Guide Batteries is thrilled to be a part of one of the most innovative and exciting team trails in the nation,” said Battery Outfitters Principal Pate Shumaker. “Since 1980, Pro-Guide has partnered with many regional tournament trails. Over those 40 years, we believe these relationships have been instrumental to our success. The friendships within the organizations, and support from the anglers, drive long-term value for everyone involved. We’re honored to have the opportunity to partner with the Alabama Bass Trail.”

As a presenting sponsor, Pro-Guide Batteries will enjoy extensive exposure through multiple ABT platforms. The ABT will feature the company on all tournament related advertising, website and collateral materials and will be seen across the various ABT social media channels.

Adding to an already robust payout program, Pro-Guide Batteries is offering a bonus program to ABT anglers that are registered in advance with the ABT. Pro-Guide Batteries will pay out $250 to the highest finishing team in the top 20 that have one or more Pro-Guide Batteries in the boat during competition, or $500 to the highest finishing team in the Top 20 that has a boat fully rigged with Pro-Guide Lithium batteries during competition (starting and trolling).

ABT Program Director Kay Donaldson said, “One product that I really focused on for a partnership this season was to find a battery partner. Anglers depend on their equipment to get them to their favorite fishing spot, and more importantly to get their days catch to the scales. We feel confident that Pro-Guide Batteries is a solid partner for ABT anglers and we are excited to work with the Pro-Guide Batteries team to grow their brand in Alabama and the southeast.”
